1940's day and evening dance

On the 13th July 2008 ponderosa will be holding 1940 themed day followed by a 1940 evening dance. During the day there will be a selection of military and 1940 vehicles on display. You will get the chance to see some of the home guard cooking up there own breakfasts and children will also be able to try out the fire water pump which will be on demonstration throughout the day. Their will be a musical entertainment preformed by the big dearn band and Lola lamour during which there will be a flyover from the world famous Lancaster bomber at approximately 1530 hrs, so why not come and join in the 1940s fun and get dressed for the occasion,
