Ian and Sheilagh as GI Jive have been teaching swing dance in all its forms for 18 years. In that time they have taught throughout the UK at numerous dancehalls, educational centres, jazz festivals, Schools, dance weekenders and workshops. They have also taught at festivals and clubs in Begium, France and USA. They have performed with over a dozen major swing and jazz bands including John Miller band, Jive Aces, Sid Lawrence Orchestra, Swing Commanders, Memphis Belle Orchestra, Squadronaires and King Pleasure and Biscuit Boys. They have danced on stage at almost 100 venues including The Royal Albert Hall, London; Glen Echo Ballroom, Washington DC; Cambrai Festival, Northern France; Her Majesty's Theatre, London; Blackpool Tower Ballroom; The Cerritos Centre, California; Palace Theatre, Manchester; The Edinburgh Festival; The Millenium Forum, Derry; Radio Modern Festivals, Ghent & Bruges; Kentwell Hall, Suffolk; The Lowry Theatre, Salford; The Celebrity Centre, Hollywood, USA and many many more. TV appearances in KENS5, Texas, Glenn Miller's Last Flight - Channel 4, Sunday Life - BBC1and BBC and Channel M programmes.
