The Coco Club - Valantines Dance Tel: 01732 450175

The doors of the 1930s Coco Club re-open on Saturday 18th February for a night of music and romance. - 7.30 pm

Experience the golden age of British Dance Band music in the perfect setting of the art deco style Stag Plaza. Dance to the fabulous music of such legends as Carroll Gibbons, Jack Hylton, Roy Fox, Ambrose and Lew Stone, plus a wealth of singers from Josephine Baker to Al Bowlly.
The musicians for the evening are yet to be confirmed but you can be sure they will be living up to the usual high standards of the Coco Club.
With glamour and elegance being bywords for the night, black/white-tie, evening or cocktail dress are recommended, and this, the décor, music and dancing, combine to provide a wonderfully unique atmosphere.
This very friendly evening successfully integrates people of all age groups, and the level of dancing is varied, so anyone can move around the floor just as it suits them. There are also several very eventful novelty dances that have become firm favourites !
