A 1940s Christmas The National Emergency Services Museum, Sheffield S3 8PT
We are back with out 1940s Christmas extravaganza! In the unique and special venue of a Victorian Police, Fire and Ambulance Station centrally located in Sheffield city centre we plan to deck the halls, sit with Santa and jive to some classic '40s music! With re-enactments, crafts, stalls, fire engine rides, activities and food, entertainment and demonstrations there will be no end to our festive forties celebrating. This year, with added outdoor space we will also have a mini vintage Christmas market complete with fairy lights and mulled wine so it'll be the perfect place for Christmas shopping whether it be for gifts for yourself or someone else! The museum will also be open as usual so you can also experience our spooky Victorian cells, marvel at our huge collection of vintage vehicles and have a go at trying on uniforms, ringing bells and exploring fire engines, police cars and motorbikes. Don't miss out on our fire engine rides where you can experience a real ride in a working fire engine!
