Hi all this a new re-enactors group that I have set up in my local area because some USAAF re enactor groups are too far for some of us get to them, So I thought set up a group up closer to home and take on like-minded re-enactors that portray USAAF personal. This re-enactors group that I am setting up are going to portray the 309th Fighter squadron of the 31st fighter group of the mighty 8th Air force USAAF, which was stationed at RAF High Ercall here in Shropshire from 1942 then RAF Westhampnett near Wolverhampton till 1945
